Hey friends! I took a long break from collage work and am back with a new 5x7" journal page for a swap. I created a free printable download with loads of flower quotes and am happy to share it with you for use in your own collage work. Find it on my Google Drive HERE. You can print it onto vintage paper, patterned paper, or ink it up after printing for the distressed look.
I was the swap hostess this month and chose the theme "seed packets." For my front side, I added a pocket and created a seed packet from a free vintage printable. I printed it two times in with an allowance around each image to fold it into a packet/envelope, then I adhered the second image to the reverse side. It is tucked away inside the page pocket with a note to the recipient. Every piece is fussy cut and adhered individually, which is so much more beautiful in person! I added washi stickers, stamping, and postage to complete the collage.
For the back side, I continued the theme with more collaged images, including a second seed packet image. I love the sentiment "cultivate kindness" by Tim Holtz and how it works beautifully with these floral images. And look at that tiny bee stamp! Love!
